I remember the recent Flash movie had great reviews on test screenings, and we all know how that turned out.

They’re partnering with GL.Inet for this new version. I own the GL.Inet Shadow mini travel router and I just bought a Flint v1 router that’s arriving tomorrow to replace my home router. I was thinking of getting v2 but the earlier version’s specs are more than enough for my use-case. Just based on my Shadow mini router, GL.Inet is pretty solid. Their routers ship with openwrt pre-installed and the UI already has easy setup options for the popular vpn brands. That’s a hefty price tag though ($250). The latest GL.Inet flagship router is on sale for $127 right now.

There are only 2 things most people want:

I was thinking of switching from Mint to LMDE because why not go straight to the source right? Can you share what minor issues you’ve had with LMDE?

He has a lot of good ideas. The problem is he isn’t a great writer, so he needs a co-writer and someone to keep him in check. The mediocre films are a result of him taking over the reigns of everything. If you haven’t yet, he has a couple of short films under Oat Studios and I think a couple of them need to be explored more and turned into full feature films. I like the premise of “Firebase” specifically.

Please have a co-writer. Blomkamp is an amazing visual director but he needs a writer to keep him in check.

Yeah I never got the hype for it being an oscar contender.

I was gonna ask why so I could provide a counter argument, but then the question specifically asks for a movie you will never be convinced is good. So I won’t bother lol.

Superhero movies, granted there aren’t a lot with “oscar-worthy” performances. Heath Ledger’s win was pushed by his unfortunate death IMO. If that didn’t happen, I don’t think he would’ve won, much less nominated. Having said that, I can’t think of any other performance off the top of my head right now lol. Does Split fall under the superhero category?

A more recent one: The Gorge. Good premise and setting, but it becomes bland when the mystery is unraveled.

There was this alien invasion B-movie like 10 years or so ago that I don’t remember the title of. But it was your typical main character and a couple of friends trying to find a way out of the city. Very generic. Then in the last 10-15 mins of the movie, he gets abducted and it gets far more interesting. But it ends there as a cliffhanger. I would’ve loved to see a version where that happens in the middle of the movie instead and we see more.

Transmission. Simple, fast, efficient.

If it’s only free if you pass, and you have to pay out of your own pocket, don’t bother.
