Lemmy sucks.
I didn’t think it was the worst thing in the world, mostly boring, uninspiring, and uninteresting.
I don’t think the original film was perfect either but I was just shocked at the fact that they changed so much from the original and the only positive change they made was giving Snow White a backstory in the beginning of the film.
I think we would all be better served if we replaced reboots and remakes with theatrical rereleases
Wasn’t this confirmed about a week or two ago? Very surprised people are talking about it now like it’s breaking news.
Was kinda wishing David Lowery got this gig but I haven’t seen Alex Garland miss yet.
I love the AMC A-List but do worry that AMC might lose money with this and either raise prices over time or shut down the subscription service.
I think because he’s involved with the film it’s more than fair to ask him the question, but the actual executives who deal with things like licensing agreements and setting various fees to lease the rights for the content would have better and more accurate answers on this situation than Tom Cruise.
I feel like this is a question better suited for an executive to answer. There’s no need for Tom Cruise to talk about Trump or tariffs at all, at least while on a press tour.
What did you want him to say?
Let’s be fair, it’s coherent, I just hate it
NGL I completely forgot. He doesn’t exactly show his age here. Black don’t crack!
Won’t this harm foreign films though?
This is so dumb. It’s not cheaper to film in Canada than Georgia, is it? Many film productions are moving from California, yes…but then going to Georgia or Texas.
I’d imagine it’d be both licensing and sales fees would go up if you’re licensing or selling it in the States
This movie was freaking incredible.
Well I think it helps that the Harry Potter franchise doesn’t echo the values of JK Rowling that leftists find so loathsome. Even non-alisters are attached to this project.
I think my favorite has gotta be Birds Of Prey. Bad movie, and kinda woke, but I had a blast with it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Second favorite would have to be Love Hurts. It sucks but somehow really works for me.
Yes but one fear is that eventually directors will go without the studio altogether, no?
This looks great
