Siegfrieda (my younger cat) scared me to hell yesterday. She barely meows, and when she does it, it’s rather quiet; then she decides to scream 4AM. Why? Because Luna (the neighbour’s cat) invaded her turf aka my home, again. I’m glad that Frieda screams to warn us though, instead of getting into a fight, but still - damn, my heart!
Then there’s Kika finding the most adorable way ever to ask for chicken breast. Picture a tabby, looking at you and meowing “mrrrown-yown?” with a pitch that resembles a question. Then she does no further sound or movement, only staring you with shining eyes. …I was boiling chicken for empadão (kind of a chicken pie), so it was still unseasoned, and she never asks for other types of food (not even chicken thighs!), so I had to share some with her.
